Join us on this great art adventure to enjoy and learn Spanish from the company of others immersed in an outstanding and unusual cultural experience.

In El Barrio, there are many mosaics and murals that reflect the culture of the area. We are going to see many works of art and talk about the connection between art and the community. During this amazing guided tour, we’ll talk about street art, the artists and the stories of the Hispanic community and the profound commitment to their cultural and social life.

Our cultural journey will start in front of the First Spanish United Methodist Church on 111 St (this church has an interesting history; it was occupied by The Young Lords in 1969).

This is the perfect opportunity for anyone who wishes to enjoy the Spanish language and culture with a group of like-minded individuals in one of the most beautiful and diverse neighborhoods of New York City.

The tour will be conducted mainly in Spanish, with some English to help you understand some facts and concepts.
