Join us to visit the special exhibition: “Nuestra Casa: Rediscovering the Treasures of The Hispanic Society Museum & Library”.
We will have a unique opportunity to see some of the most precious objects featured in Nuestra Casa, as part of the Hispanic Society’s permanent collection.
Nuestra Casa will include objects masterpieces such as Francisco de Goya’s Duchess of Alba (1797) and Diego Velázquez’s Portrait of a Little Girl (c. 1638-42) among others. These works will be shown alongside masterpieces by Latin American artists, such as José Augustín Arrieta and José Campeche y Jordán.
The tour will be mainly in Spanish and English will be limited to short translations.
Why: To learn about art, history and culture
Where: Hispanic Society Museum & Library: 613 W 155th St · Nueva York, NY. The group will meet right outside the Museum. The visit will start promptly at 12:00 pm.
