Join us for walking experience of the best of Central Park on a guided tour in Spanish! This is a great opportunity to practice Spanish, learn about the history of Central Park, have lots of fun, and meet like-minded amigos.
We will meet at the Grand Army Plaza (next to the William Tecumseh Sherman (golden) Monument) at 4:00 pm. From there, we will make our way over to the statues of three remarkable historical figures of Latin America: José Martí, Simón Bolívar and José de San Martín. We then go to The Mall and Literary Walk. We’ll visit the Minton Tile Ceiling at Bethesda Terrace and the Conservatory Garden on the East Side between 104th and 106th. The tour will officially end at Great Hill on 106th.
Afterwards, the group will head to a Mexican restaurant on 110th Street for food and drinks.
When: Saturday, October 9, 2021 (Rain date: Saturday, October 21, 2021)
Time: 4:00pm – 6:00pm
Who: Anybody interested in Hispanic culture in Nueva York (and in good health!)
Why: To hang out, learn more about Hispanic language and culture in the city
