El Greco: Master of the Mannerism

El Greco, born Doménikos Theotokópoulos (1541 – 7 April 1614), was a Greek artist whose painting and sculpture helped define the Spanish Renaissance and influence various movements to come. “El Greco” (“The Greek”) was a nick-friedmanname, a reference to his Greek origin.
