WALT WHITMAN EN ESPAÑOL AT THE NY PUBLIC LIBRARY + BRYANT PARK AND TACOS

Saturday, Jun 8, 2019

11:45am - 1:30pm

Join us as we walk the magical halls of the New York Public Library to learn about it’s fascinating history in Spanish. In this exhibition, we will also explore the roots of Walt Whitman: American poet, journalist, and essayist whose verse collection Leaves of Grass, first published in 1855, is a landmark in the history of American literature. We’ll read en español passages from his most famous work.

The group will also explore Bryant Park and talk about its history all in Spanish. This is a unique opportunity to learn more about the great institution that is NYPL, meet great people, and practice your Spanish.
After the tour, the group will go for the best tacos in the city.
