Cultural Activities and Excursions
| | Quito and its surrounding areas provide innumerable outdoor opportunities for studying and practicing Spanish. Taking language study outside the traditional confines of the classroom,is a critical ingredient of our approach to language learning. Students spend some of their one-on-one class time with their instructors at museums, markets, churches, architectural sites and galleries. Upon their return from Ecuador, our students often tell us how much more fun they had studying Spanish in context and how getting to know the Latin American way of life vastly improved greatly? their confidence in the language and accelerated their fluency. |  |

From their department it is an easy 5 minute walk to parque Carolina, an extensive park in the metropolitan area and to two of Quito"s major shopping centers. Elena is a well known Tango teacher. Occasionally their apartment helds Milongas and Tango lessons for local and foreign students.The Carbo"s are non-smokers and do not have pets. |

| Our Cultural Immersion Programs in Ecuador are flexible and can be tailored to each student"s needs. For optimal learning success, we can plan a program and curriculum responsive to your specific needs. Any course can be extended for an unlimited period of time while in Quito. You can also combine the programs of study (Coast, Jungle or Galápagos) in Ecuador. We can make special arrangements for you to study in any city around the country.
Costs and Fees
The Standard 10-Day Cultural Immersion Program in Quito - Ecuador is $750 plus a $50 registration fee.
This does not include round trip air fare.
